I'm heartened by the interest in my gun conversation w. Larry King. We need 2 have that discussion. It will come when we elect brave leaders

The “Seinfeld” actor is referring to an interview he had earlier this year with Larry King where he talked about gun control and campaigning for Barack Obama.
Alexander told King:
“What I’m advocating is a realistic conversation about what weapons should be in the hands of non-military or non-police people”
He pooh-poohed the idea that anyone would ever need to defend themselves against an out of control government.
You would think after all the outcry about militarized police forces that accompanied the incidents in Ferguson, Missouri, people would be less inclined to relinquish their right to personally arm themselves against government tyranny.
@IJasonAlexander The right to bear arms came about through fear of the British invading. Newsflash. We're not going to.

Maybe they teach that in the U.K.
@IJasonAlexander Still trying to figure out why people even want to own assault weapons?!? Hunting?sure but keep them locked up and safe!

And brave leaders will defend it.
